Laura Garcia, Administrative Assistant II
Duties: I preform a wide range of secretarial duties in our school setting. I exercise judgement in answering questions that my apply to school or office policy to specific situations. I determine types and quantities of supplies to order. And maintain a high level of confidentiality.
About my self: I am in a wonderful relationship in which I have known my sweetheart Reuben for 37 years. We have three wonderful children, Mandie 35; Anthony 30; Scott 25. And 2 grandbabies Ryland 6 and Camden 2. And I can't forgot about our furry family member Razor.
I enjoy traveling, camping in the mountains of Colorado and skiing in the slopes. As well as lots of quality time with my family.
Martha Salinas, Clerk IV
My name is Martha Salinas. I am the Clerk IV here at Dobie Pre-K. I have been here since it opened in August 2012. Before coming to Dobie, I was a lunchroom monitor and teacher assistant at Graham Elementary. I am originally from Three Rivers, TX, where I also worked as a custodian for the school district. I have lived in Austin since March 2002 and I have two wonderful sons. I truly enjoy working here at Dobie Pre-K and I am here to help students, parents/guardians and staff in any way I can.
